Climb the amazing Mt Toubkal on this 3 days trek through the wilderness, and explore some of the most spectacular places in the area, including the valley of Imlil, the Toubkal Massif, the shrine of Sidi Chamarouch, and the peak of Jebel Toubkal.

Itinerary

You will be picked up from your hotel in Marrakech at around 8,00am. Accompanied by an English- speaking guide drive south up over gorges and high passes of the upper valleys to the Berber town of Imlil (1740m). here we shall leave our vehicle to take a welcome glass of mint tea in our gite d'etape prior to setting out for a 4 km hike towards the shout up to the Berber villages of Aremd (1843m) taourirt, and targa imoula, we shall stop at armed to visit this rather singular village in the Assif Ait Maizane Valley, built seemingly house upon house on a ;rage moraine spur. We then carry on to the equally-quaint village of sidi Chamharouch, a Berber village set beside a waterfall and small stream. We take a break for a picnic, within full view of mighty Jbel Toubkal at 4167m the highest peak in the Maghreb. Our last stretch of the day takes us to our overnight accommodation, either at the Toubkal Refuge .

Start the day with a climb up the highest peak in the North Africa 4167m. Descend via the south Circuit-for a straightforward 2 to 3 hours descent back to the Refuge, This afternoon; we shall take gentle hike shout-eastwards to the head of the Assif Ait Maizane valley and Tizi n O'unoums. When ready, we return to our overnight accommodation, either at the Toubkal Refuge.

Start the day with a climb up the highest peak in the North Africa 4167m. Descend via the south Circuit-for a straightforward 2 to 3 hours descent back to the Refuge, where we will have lunch before walking back down to Imlil for the pick up back to Marrakech.
