3 Day Atlas Valley Trek : Ouirgane National Park.

Easy to medium & interesting 3 day treks through the berber villages & valleys of Imlil and Azzaden, meet the berber communauty.

Suitable for families with kids, elderly people, the route itself is comfortable for a mule ride instead as well as for walking, cross scenic mountain pass & villages, enjoy an overview of a typical & authentic valley.

For people who are more adventures, the days can be extended to cover more distances and climb side peaks all through the trek.

Itinerary

After breakfast in Marrakech, head towards Tahnnaout, Oued Ghighaya, and Asni, heading towards the High Atlas Mountains, and enjoy breathtaking views of the villages along the valley. Arrival in Imlil (65 km from Marrakech), meeting with the guide, then departure for the trek and ascent of the Tizi Mzik Pass (2684 m), spectacular view of the Imlil Valley and the summit of Toubkal. Continue to Tamsoulte to visit the highest waterfalls in the Atlas Mountains (100 m from the Azzaden Valley through the juniper forest to reach the Tamsoult Refuge. Overnight at the guesthouse in the village. 6 hours of walking.

After breakfast, enjoy the sunshine over this colorful valley and its wonderful typical Berber villages. Leave Tizi Oussem and continue towards the Id Issa village, before heading towards the Tizi Oudid mountain pass (2,000 m), cross the village after a wild juniper forest, lunch under the walnut groves and relax by the river. In the afternoon, return to Marrakech (arrival around 5 p.m.) at 5 a.m
